Amelia Lodge No. 101 presented Worshipful Nunnally Hall with his 60 Year Masonic Veteran’s Pin.

He was escorted to the East by his Son-in-Law, Worshipful Randy Maxey and Grandson, Brother Kevin Maxey.

The Brethren from Farmville Lodge No. 41 and Nottoway Lodge No. 147 met together on Monday October 30th to initiate a candidate from Nottoway and pass three Brothers to the degree of Fellowcraft. It was a fine night of great ritual and fellowship.

She will be attending Longwood University this fall.  She is the daughter of Brother Chris Russell and granddaughter of Worshipful Garland Hamlett.

Derrick Napier, Worshipful Master of St Johns Lodge No. 144 presents  a scholarship check to Jacob Moore, grandson of Brother Ralph and Lana Moore. He will be attending Radford University this fall.

Farmville Police Department were pleased to receive a delivery of lunches today.  The box meals were prepared by the Farmville United Women of Faith and delivered by a Mason.

Amelia Lodge No. 101 supported Wounded Officer, Deputy Josh Price, with a donation drive to assist him in his recovery.  The Community raised almost $2,000 in donations and the Lodge rounded that up.  He was invited to our January Community Breakfast where he was surprised with the check.

Right Worshipful Mike Montgomery, District Deputy Grand Master for Masonic District 27 reports that Nottoway Lodge No. 147  had a great turn out at the Nottoway Parade. They served over 100 cups of hot apple cider. One guy requested to get more information about membership. I'm calling him today. We are also serving hot cider at the Burkeville Parade this Saturday at 5pm. If you can please join us.

__________________Brother A. J. Walker Receives his

_________________60 Year Masonic Veteran Award

Arthur Jennings (A. J.) Walker, Jr. and his family were visited by several Members from Farmville Masonic Lodge No. 41 to honor him as a 60 year Member of the Masonic Fraternity.  On March 17th, A. J.’s 91st birthday, he was presented the prestigious 60-Year Masonic Veterans Award from the Grand Lodge, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of the Commonwealth of Virginia.  A. J. has been a member of Farmville Lodge No. 41 since becoming a Mason on April 11, 1960.  Pictured from Left are Brother Jay Fort, Worshipful Mike Montgomery and Brothers Walker and John Jamieson.

St. Johns Lodge 144 presents the Community Builder's Award to Kerwin Kunath.

Kerwin has cooked stews for many organizations (VFW Post in the county, churches, volunteer fire departments, etc.), worked in concession stand for their daughter's softball team at high school, and serves on the Charlotte County Planning Commission.
